Parajet Paramotors

Maverick II connect

An innovative E INK screen device, mounted and integrated ergonomically on the new MAVERICK II harness arms, providing pilots with a visual display of their existing fuel levels, flight duration and remaining flight time.

Introduction

Awareness of your fuel level is such a simple but vital piece of information in order to provide pilots total peace of mind whilst inflight.

Take to the skies with unprecedented confidence in your fuel consumption. The Parajet CONNECT offers an inflight live visual display of your flight time, burn rate in liters per hour, and calculates your remaining flight time.

Forget OEM solutions, our made for purpose Connect delivers beautifully, arrives fully installed and is integrated ergonmically on to the harness arms ensuring maximised convenience and safety.

This innovation represents a paradigm shift for the paramotoring industry, developed over two years from initial concept through multiple prototypes, over 1,000 hours of development, and more than 150 hours of flight testing.

We believe CONNECT is essential, which is why it comes standard with every MAVERICK II paramotor. We can’t wait to share this advancement with Parajet pilots.

*except for the EFI models.

Benefits

Pilots have previously relied on calculating average fuel consumption mentally or using a mirror to check fuel levels mid-flight. It has always been our strong feeling that both methods are outdated, pose safety risks and can be particularly disconcerting for new pilots.

Benefits to new pilots:
Never worry about running out of fuel! The Parajet CONNECT allows new pilots total peace of mind that all the information they require is easily visible and available to them, without the need to park their brakes, use phones or mirrors, or put themselves at risk when having to put their hands back behind them towards the propeller.

Benefits to experienced pilots:
It’s really amazing how much an adjustment to glider setting and inflight RPM can have to fuel burn. Experienced pilots will hugely enjoy and value the insights CONNECT can provide them. Conveniently integrated onto the harness arms, CONNECT allows experienced pilots the ability to go further and never worry about landing too early! The innovative E-INK screen provides all the vital information you need to understand and maximise your fuel level, flight time and fun!

Demonstration

A quick guide on how CONNECT works, from powering on, inputting fuel level and navigating the display screens.

integrated design

CONNECT is designed to integrate seamlessly with the new MAVERICK II arms. Mounted on the top leading edge, its connecting wires run discreetly along the arm and behind the harness to the battery and fuel tank.

This positioning ensures CONNECT is easily visible in flight and accessible for changing screen modes. Built into the Maverick II’s design, it ensures the module remains secure and cannot be left behind or accidentally fall off during flight.

E INK SCREEN

WHY E INK

E Ink, or “electronic ink,” is a monochrome display technology renowned for its low power consumption and visual similarity to ink on paper. This makes it ideal for e-readers and other devices requiring long battery life. E Ink displays also cause less eye strain and can be viewed in full sunlight and at wide viewing angles.

THE SCIENCE

E Ink’s e-paper displays consist of millions of microcapsules filled with electrically charged white and black ink particles suspended in transparent oil. Negatively charged white particles represent the white on a page, while positively charged black particles function as the ink. These capsules are sandwiched between top and bottom electrodes, which control the ink’s position using an electric field. This process, known as electrophoresis, allows for precise manipulation of the ink particles to create clear, readable text and images.
