If you do take a knock though, tubes can rarely be forced back into shape, and a more expensive repair is on the cards. The even lighter titanium airframes have a natural spring in the metal and can be bent back into shape after a quite severe misfortune.<\/p><p>Carbon fibre is becoming more popular with manufacturers and is extremely lightweight.
